Erosion of hydro turbine components is a huge problem and reduces efficiency. Having to shut down generation in areas where high sediment concentrations are present in the water, especially during monsoon periods, causes valuable loss of energy generation.

Solution:
The DynaVec unique innovative Francis Runner enables fully hard coated (HVOF) solutions even for small size runners due to exchangeable vanes. This allows for non-stop energy generation, maintained efficiency, increased time between maintenance intervals (TBO), and hence significantly increased margins.
